Accounting Manager/Controller

Systems Assessment and Research, Inc. (SAR Corp) is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to work under the direction of the President/CEO.
Position Mission:
- Coordinate all elements of financial operations within the Corporate Office.
- Ensure reporting and financial compliance requirements are met with all government agencies and commercial entities.
- Develop and maintain effective and comprehensive financial management systems to meet all Corporate and government financial reporting obligations accurately and on-time.
- Development and maintenance of efficient and effective financial processes to ensure maximization of corporate revenue.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports.
Requirements
Accounting Manager/Controller must have:
- A Bachlor's degree with 5 years experience in accounting financial management or administration and/or a Masters degree with 3 years experience in accounting, financial management or administration.
- 3-5 years of proficiency in Deltek GCS Premiere and Quickbooks accounting software.
- Proficiency in ADP Payroll processing
- A minimum of 3-5 years documented management experience in a government contracting environment. Supervisory skills must be evident.
- Proficiency with government cost accounting practices.
- Ability to produce accurate financial reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Ability to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company's contract requirements and cost pricing structure to include the analysis of indirect costs.
- CPA is a plus.
